Street Photography Portraits in Black and White

This journal entry post showcases a series of black-and-white street photography portraits. The first photo, taken in Jimbaran, Bali, 2011 captures a woman with her two young children.

In 2016, a monk gazing out at the Mekong River from Wat Chomphet Temple in northern Luang Prabang, Laos, was photographed.

The final image, from 2017, features two men posing for the camera in Brickfields (Little India), Kuala Lumpur.

I explore and document urban and natural environments, often focusing on reflections, shadows, and patterns. My camera walks allow me to capture found objects and scenes that tell stories through everyday details. In my journal, I share these explorations and offer a glimpse into my process.
