James Street Store Window Display Mannequins

The photos in this journal post are of mannequins from fashion shop window displays along James Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Australia. According to a fashionista’s online blog post, the James Street precinct is Brisbane’s home of fashion.

What Window Dressing Display Attracted my Attention?

The image with the photo frames, street reflection and mannequin shape is from Calexico’s boutique. In contrast, the textured surface of the mannequin seated in the Silk Laundry shop window is visible in the photograph. This mannequin is covered with paper mache. Finally, the last of the three images is a shadow of a mannequin’s arm and hand and was taken at the Kookai retail store entrance on a bright sunny morning.
