New Farm, Brisbane Black and White Urban Photos

These black-and-white photos were captured during a late September stroll through the streets of New Farm, Brisbane.

The first two images are shadow studies. One captures the silhouette of a tree and its branches on a concrete retaining wall, covered by a layer of leaves. The other shows a neatly groomed garden casting shadows on a residential garage door in New Farm.

I explore and document urban and natural environments, often focusing on reflections, shadows, and patterns. My camera walks allow me to capture found objects and scenes that tell stories through everyday details. In my journal, I share these explorations and offer a glimpse into my process.
