Creative DIY Motorcycle Cover Spotted in Brisbane

Back in March 2024, I stumbled upon a motorcycle with a rather unconventional cover—a fitted sheet. At the time, I admired the ingenuity behind it.

Fast forward to today, while wandering the streets with my camera, I encountered the same motorcycle, still shielded by that resilient fitted sheet.

This impromptu motorcycle cover seems to have stood the test of Brisbane’s temperate weather, with its humidity and occasional recent scattered thunderstorms.

Such moments capture the essence of urban life in Brisbane—unexpected, resilient, and always intriguing. If you’re curious to see more of these everyday wonders, sign up for my newsletter, where I share monthly snippets from Newstead, Fortitude Valley, and Teneriffe.
