Train Station Photography

This collection features black and white train station photography captured in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. KL’s public transport system is incredibly convenient and an efficient way to navigate the city. Since moving to KL in 2015, I’ve chosen to live near LRT or MRT lines, making it easy to explore the city via public transport without the hassle of driving.

Although I’m not aware of any specific regulations about photography on station platforms or trains, I make it a point to respect people’s privacy. Many passengers prefer not to be photographed by strangers, and I respect that.

Rail Photographs

This post showcases six images taken at various train station platforms throughout Kuala Lumpur. Each photograph captures the atmosphere of the stations and the fleeting moments of daily commuters.

I explore and document urban and natural environments, often focusing on reflections, shadows, and patterns. My camera walks allow me to capture found objects and scenes that tell stories through everyday details. In my journal, I share these explorations and offer a glimpse into my process.
